Alex Earl Studio is a small Melbourne based design studio with over 12 years of experience producing timeless artisanal pieces including luxury lighting and state of the art sound systems.
We strive to bring bold ideas to life with our design experience, exceptional craftsmanship and use of the highest quality, sustainably sourced materials. Our designs not only consider functionality, but also broader environmental and social issues that we consider
important.
Alex Earl Design Studio practices a strong commitment to ethical and environmentally conscious manufacturing. We use natural and sustainably sourced materials and use natural or low emission finishes on our products. We also donate and recycle all our unused and off-cut timber materials to local community groups. All our pieces are designed and made locally from start to finish by our talented team of creatives, in our Melbourne workshop.

Alex Earl has been making things since childhood, and has yet to get over the compulsion- which he now shares with his energetic daughters aged 8 and 10.
Dinesha joined her husband and the Alex Earl Studio in 2016 after over a decade working in humanitarian settlement, community development, community arts and teaching. She brings her love of people, the planet and beautiful things as well as a lifelong commitment to high standards of ethically and socially conscious work practices.
